Srinagar, June 22: Security forces recovered three bodies, including those of two Pakistani militants, busted a hideout, recovered war-like stores and arrested a Lashker-a-Toiba (LeT) ultra in the Kashmir valley overnight.

A report from Baramulla said troops during a routine patrolling near the Line of Control (LoC) at Eagle post, Karnah, recovered bodies of two pakistani militants. Two AK assault rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.

It is believed that the militants might have been buried alive under the snow avalanche in March this year.

An unidentified body was recovered from a Nallah at Batamagi Nichiyan in Karnah.

An official spokesman said Special Operation Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir police, 1 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a joint operation at Rampora, Kulgam, in south Kashmir last night.

An LeT militant, Mohammadd Ashraf Sheikh Moulvi, was arrested during the operation.

He said troops of 20-JAK Rifles during a search operation unearthed a hideout at Seidnad in the frontier district of Kupwara.

They seized arms and ammunition, which included four AK assault rifles, eight AK magazines, 115 rounds of AK ammunition, one 30 mm pistol, two pistol magazines, 44 rounds of pistol ammunition, 69 detonators and four wireless sets.
