Water levels of three major reservoirs decreases
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 21 (UNI) Water levels of major reservoirs of Kerala have come down.
According to the figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ending June 18, 2007, the water level at Idukki decreased from 2301.18 ft to 2299.64, at Idamalayar from 438.29 ft to 435.66 ft and at Kallada from 295.87 ft to 294.29 ft.
Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada reserviors showed a decrease of 12.58 ft, 03.81 ft and 34.52 ft respectively when compared with the water levels recorded during the same period last year, a release said here today.
