Reliance Money ties-up with CMC Limited

Chennai, June 21: Reliance Money, the financial distribution company of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, today announced its tie-up with CMC limited, a leading IT solutions and service provider.

Talking to newspersons here, CMC Managing Director and CEO Ramanathan Ramanan said as per the agreement, Reliance Money would install its web-enabled retail kiosk at CMC franchisee outlets.

''This initative will further enhance our customer servicing capabilities in the financial service space and add value to our education and training centres,'' he said adding ''the customers, at our education and training centres will be able to complete their financial transactions using Reliance Money kiosks and get educated in their related products.'' He said ''we will also launch a six-month job oriented programme in area of finance with Reliance Money.'' In addition, the CMC would also facilitate customer acquisition process of Reliance Money and act as a partner for both its trading and financial distribution business.

The CMC, through its nationwide presence at category A, B and C cities would assist Reliance Money in sourcing customers from their franchisee centres.

Reliance Money Director and CEO Sudip Bandyopadhyay claimed that the Reliance Money was the first company to deploy internet enabled retail kiosks for trading with the sole purpose of getting close to the customer and providing them convenient and secure access to a cost effective transaction platform for meeting their financial transaction requirements.

He said ''Reliance Money plans to set up over 10,000 such kiosks in the country to enable our customers to do transaction on, among others, equity and commodity derivatives, mutual funds and IPOs.'' ''We have already installed 2,500 outlets across the country and the remaining 7,500 will be setup before this fiscal,'' he added.
