Motorola offers 'MOTOROKRTM Z6' on world's music day
New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Cellphone maker Motorola today announced the launch of 'MOTOROKRTM Z6' in India leveraging the fastest growing telecom market that adds about six million subscribers every month.
The ROKR Z6, priced at Rs 11,999 for the deluxe pack and Rs 15,499 for the premium pack, will be available at all the Motostores and participating retailers.
The latest offering by Motorola is a music-optimised handset, merging the latest music features with digital imaging platform and a metallic slider design.
The ROKR Z6's integrated music player also supports multiple audio files and features 64 MB of on-board user memory and a removable MicroSD memory card slot for up to 2GB of music, pictures and other media.
It has a built-in two megapixel camera and a 320x240 resolution 262K colour TFT display with a full length two-hour music video titled 'Roger Waters, The Wall, Live in Berlin' which comes preloaded with every phone.
''With clean lines, an appealing silhouette, and rich music experience, the ROKR Z6 provides an incredible experience,'' Motorola Mobile Devices India Vice President and General Manager Malcolm Dawe said.
The ROKR Z6 lets consumers 'plug and play' with any personal computer running Windows Media Player 10 or 11. With fast PC direct connectivity via High Speed USB 2.0, the ROKR Z6 will provide consumers easy access to music.
''We have optimised this stylish handset with the very latest music functionality allowing users to take their music with them and enjoy their favourite sounds while on the move,'' Mr Dawe added.
Inside the clean lines of the ROKR Z6 is a Linux/JavaTM music platform with Windows MediaTM technologies.
The ROKR Z6 also features stereo Bluetooth(r) wireless technology3, enabling users to enjoy a wireless mobile stereo experience with compatible Bluetooth-enabled stereo headphones, such as the recently announced ROKR S9 wrap-around headset3.
