TTD conducts review meeting on Pandit Mandali Saddu

Tirupati, June 20 (UNI) As part of the Hindu Dharma Pracharam, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) has conducted a review meeting on Pandit Mandali Saddu, attended by five language scholars in English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

Addressing the meeting, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary yesterday said TTD was providing financial assistance up to Rs 20,000 to the writers, who write books on Ithihas, Purana Bhagvatams, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaibavam and other Hindu Dharma books in various languages.

Mr Ramanachary said TTD started the financial assistance to the writers in 1975. TTD had paid Rs 25 crore on 15,000 books during the last three decades, he added.

He said to distribute more Hindu Dharmic books to the public, the Saddus would be conducted once in two months.
