Three CIT officials selected as best officers

Hyderbaad, Jun 20 (UNI) Three officials of the Clues Investigation Team (CIT) and the City Security Wing (CSW) , were selected as the best officers, who did commendable job in defusing a live bomb during the Mecca Masjid blasts here on May 18.

According to an official press release T Suresh, Scientific Officer of the CIT, C H N S V Ramana, Reserve Sub Inspector (RSI)and H Anil Kumar, Police Constable of the CSW were selected for the honours for the month of May.

The trio detected an unexploded bomb in the Mecca Masjid after the bomb blast, rushing to the scene immediately after the terrorists triggered one bomb. They immediately evacuated the place and defused the bomb at Khilwath grounds.

They displayed exemplary courage and devotion beyond the normal call of duty, the release said in appreciation.
