State electricity board employees die in road mishap

Sangrur, June 20 (UNI) Two Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) employee were killed when their motorcycle skidded off the road and smashed into a tree near Maur village in the district last night, police today stated.

According to the police, the victims were returning home when the mishap occured on Dirba-Sangrur road. As the road was slippery due to the rains, the motrocycle skidded and banged into a tree, killing Sukhdev Singh on the spot and seriously injuring Davinder Kumar.

The injured died in the civil hospital here this morning.
