Ramdas Athawale demands 10 pc share in power in Mah
Sangli, Maharashtra, Jun 20 (UNI) Republican Party of India (RPI-Athawale group) Chief Ramdas Athawale has demanded 10 per cent share in power in Maharashtra.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Athwale, said both the Congress and the NCP used RPI to rule the State only.
''In case Congress and NCP did not consider RPI's demand for 10 per cent share in power then they will reconsider about their support to them and will contest fourthcoming election on its own strength as an alternative way,'' he said.
Efforts are on to bring together all RPI factions and dalit sanghatanas to form a front in the State by taking into consideration the success of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief and UP Chief Minister Mayawati, he added.
