Preparations completed for CM's 'Village Stay' at a Hamlet

Bijapur, Jun 20 (UNI) Preparations have been completed for Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy's Village Stay at Surumutha Tanda in Indi Taluk in the District on June 23.

Minister for Textile Appu Pattanashetty, who is also District incharge Minister, told newsmen here that Mr Kumaraswamy would be make a overnight stay in Vitthal Rasgod's hut in thinly populated Hamlet, about 50 km from here.

The Hamlet neither has sanitation nor water facility.

The Chief Minister would be arriving Jigagraragi by helicopter in the evening. The district administration has undertaken 14 development projects at Jigagrargi village near the Hamlet.

Mr Kumaraswamy would address a public meeting on June 24 and proceed to Bijapur to attend a mass marriage of 700 couples organised by the Veerashaiv Mahasabha.
