Port Blair-bound flights return to Chennai

Chennai, June 20 (UNI) Two Port Blair-bound flights from here, with 264 passengers on board, returned to the Kamaraj domestic airport here today as the flights could not land at Port Blair due to bad weather condition.

Airport sources said the Air Deccan flight (DN 709), which left for Port Blair with 124 passengers at 0820 hrs, returned here at 1150 hrs, while the Indian flight (IC 549) with 140 passengers left here at 0645 hrs and returned at 1230 hrs.
