New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) With humidity levels in the Capital rising sharply to 92 per cent, the peak demand in Delhi rose to 3115 MW.

Peak load on the system recorded was 3115 MW at 1426 hrs, as against 3089 MW yesterday, a Delhi Transco spokesperson said.

Three MW shedding had to be carried out by BSES due to overloading of 20 MVA transformer in Okhla Phase-2, the spokesperson said.

No under frequency relay was operated, he said.

With Delhi experiencing pleasant weather over the last few days following a few spells of pre-Monsoon showers, the power situation in Delhi has remained comfortable with the peak demand being met without much loadshedding.
