One of 4 blast victims at Bokaro Steel Plant dies

Bokaro, Jun 20 (UNI) One of the four blast victims injured in Bokaro Steel Plant (BSP) yesterday died at Bokaro general hospital today.

Chief of communication of the plant Basant Kumar Thakur today said the deceased identified as Shivshankar Choudhuri (40) who received serious burn injuries along with three other contract labourers died in the hospital.

The accident took place when the pipeline carrying high-density steam, which travels at high speed, burst badly injurying the four persons, including a 21-year-old girl.

Abour 40 workers were inside the plant when the accident took place.

The three other injured included Ramnath Patra (42), Govind Mahto (32) and Chandni Kurti were stated to be out of danger.

The girl was sweeping the floor when the blast occurred.
