Navy medical teams in Kottayam district
Kochi, June 20 (UNI) The Navy today deployed six doctors and as many paramedical staff to assist the district health authorities in attending to viral fever patients in Kottayam district.
According to an official release here, three teams were stationed at Pampadi, Erumeli amd Mundakayam in the district.
Surgeon Commander Sanjeev, heading the team at Mundakayam, attended to around 550 patients and the team at Pampadi, headed by Surgeoon Commander Mohapatra, treated about 200 patients.
The thrid team under Surgeon Lieutenant Commaber Dange was operating at Erumeli.
All the teams would be stationed at these places for three to four days.
