Motorcyclists snatch cash bag from cashier

Puducherry, June 20 (UNI) Two motorcycle borne persons attacked a cashier of a petrol pump here and snatched a bag containing Rs 12.93 lakh from him early this morning.

Police said Radhakrishnan (50) of Kennedy Nagar, working as cashier in two petrol used to keep the collection amount in his house before remitting it to the bank.

Two persons on a motorcyle waylaid the cashier near the Yatri Nivas. When Radhakrishnan resisted, they inflicted injuries on his hand, took away the cash bag and escaped, police said.
