India and Canada to strengthen cooperation in field of agriculture

New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) India and Canada have agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Minister of State for Agriculture Kanti Lal Bhuria, who is presently visiting Canada, held discussions with Mr Chuck Strahl, Canadian Minister of Agriculture and Agribusiness at Montreal last evening.

They will have a further, detailed discussion today on exchange of technology, trade and investment in the field of agriculture.

Mr Bhuria participated in the 13th International Economic Forum of the Americas and had the Innovation and International Trade session of the Economic Forum this morning.
