SINGAPORE, June 20 (Reuters) Telecommunications equipment maker Ericsson said on Wednesday it has won two hosting agreements for multimedia services offered by Indian state-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).

Ericsson, the world's largest mobile network equipment maker, said it would host a mobile content download portal and a ring-back tone service for BSNL. It did not disclose any financial details of the deals.

BSNL, the fourth largest player in the world's fastest growing major mobile market, had 28 million mobile subscribers at end-May.

Ericsson said it expected strong market growth in Southeast Asia to continue in coming years, with Vietnam market set to surge.

''It is the pent-up demand what is large in Vietnam and operators have started to address this big time,'' Jan Signell, head of Ericsson's operations in the region, told a news conference.

Ericsson said in separate statements issued at CommunicAsia trade fair in Singapore it had won orders for broadband technology from Maxis Communications Bhd in Malaysia and Broad Band Telecom Services Ltd in Bangladesh.
