2 robbers arrested, Rs 5 lakh booty recovered

Mathura, June 20 (UNI) Police arrested two robbers in raids conducted in Rajpur Danda area here and recovered booty worth Rs 5 lakh comprising gold and jewellery.

SSP R K Chaturvedi said today a joint team of police and Special Operation Group (SOG) sleuths raided a place and arrested the kingpin Satyendra Chaudhary after a brief encounter.

Later, the team raided another place in Nangla Bhuria and arrested Satyendra's aide Kishori Baba.

The duo had been sent to jail.
