Tata AIG appoints Gaurav Garg as new MD

Mumbai, June 19 (UNI) Private insurance major Tata-AIG General Insurance Company Ltd today announced the appointment of Gaurav Garg as the new Managing Director of the company.

Mr Garg will succeed Michael Carlin, who is relocating to Northern Ireland, the company said in a statement here today.

It further added that Mr Garg presently holds the office of Vice President (Field Operation) AIG, New York, and will take the charge of Managing Director of the company on July 1.

He will be responsible for providing overall leadership for the managing opertations of the company in India and will also be responsible for driving all business and marketing development activities.
