Sunny day after 4 days of clouds, rain but weather remains pleasant

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) After basking in cool weather over the last few days following a generous bounty of pre-Monsoon showers, it was back to dry weather for Delhiites today with the Sun shining clear and bright.

With the Sun emerging from behind the clouds, it was a predominantly sunny day for people of Delhi, with a brief period of cloudy weather in the afternoon, resulting in a rise in maximum temperature in the city to 34.1 Degree Celsius, from 30.7 Degree C yesterday.

Despite a rise in mercury, the weather remained pleasant as the maximum of 34 Degree C was still five degrees below normal.

More dry weather could be in the offing for Delhiites in the coming days with the influence of the Easterlies, which have brought about the pre-Monsoon showers since Friday, on the wane.
