Student dies in mysterious circumstances

Phagwara, June 19 (UNI) A 21-year-old BA first year student of the Kamla Nehru College has died in her residence at Satnampura here after allegedly swallowing poisonous substance.

According to her father Balwinder Behl, Ms Sherry was studying in her room at sunday night when she started vomiting.

She was rushed to local civil hospital and later shifted to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana, where she died yesterday.

Family sources said, Ms Sherry, who was apprehensive about outcome of her results, might have swallowed some poisonous substance.

The body of the deceased was handed over to family members after conducting post mortem at the local civil hospital, police said.
