Rahul's birthday celebrated in Puducherry

Puducherry, June 19: Blood donations, poor feeding and distribution of sweets today marked the 38th birthday celebrations of Rahul Gandhi in the Union Territory.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy inaugurated the blood donation programme organised by the students wing of the Congress at the Government General Hospital here in which over 50 volunteers donated blood.

Volunteers of the Rajiv Gandhi Desiya Peravai pulled the golden chariot at the Manakkula Vinayagar temple here to mark the occasion.

Peravai volunteers also organised fed the poor and distributed sweets at orphanages and leprosy centres.
