Mumbai, Jun 19 (UNI) Ogilvy&Mather (India) has won the Bronze Lion in the Direct category at the 54th Cannes Lions for the Hutch Ranga Shankara 'Incident' campaign.

The advertising agency received the award on June 16 at Cannes, a release here today said.

The award was given for their promotional campaign on the 'The Hutch Ranga Shankara Theatre festival, in which plays in English, Kannada and other regional languages from all over India were being enacted.

For the campaign, O&M chose real life situations like a couple breaking up at a restaurant, a fight between a possessive boyfriend and voyeur at a coffee shop, a marriage proposal in the park and an argument in the office and captured audience's attention. Later, boards reading 'For more drama, come to Ranga Shankara' were held out. Leaflets with the festival's schedule were also distributed.

The O&M campaign has also bagged 4 ABBY Awards including the Integrated Campaign of the year, the release added.
