Karnataka to stop illegal money lending business in the state

Bangalore, June 19 (UNI) In an attempt to stop the harassment to the farmers the Karnataka government today issued order not to run any money lending business without having adequate permission.

An official statement said today said that the government had issued the order against the private money lenders who had indulged in money lending and charging exorbitant rate of interest rate.

The order said that the those who violate the rules in money lending would face prosecute and six months jail term, if found guilty.
