Indian Hotels Q4 net at Rs 134 crore

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Indian Hotels Company Ltd today said its net profit jumped at Rs 134.52 crore for the quarter ended March 2007 against Rs 78.85 crore for the corresponding period previous year.

The company's total income rose to Rs 538.87 crore from Rs 371.42 crore in the said period.

For the year ended March 2007, the company clocked a net profit of Rs 322.39 crore against Rs 183.78 in the previous fiscal.

Total income stood at Rs 1,618.71 crore against Rs 11,54.8 crore in the said period,.

The company had approved the amalgamation of Asia Pacific Hotels Ltd, Indian Resort Hotels Ltd, Gateway Hotels and Getaway Resorts Ltd, Taj Lands End Ltd, and Kuteeram Resorts Pvt Ltd with the company with effect from April 01, 2006.

The High Courts approved the Scheme of Amalgamation (Scheme) in March, 2007.
