Haryana govt gives free land to Karnal Central School

Chandigarh, June 19 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to provide ten acres of land to Central School, Karnal free of cost from the acquired land of Jail Department.

An official spokesman said the Central School, Karnal had been functioning in the Karnal city since 1986 in an area of seven kanals. The location of the school was in the middle of the city and the number of students enrolled in it was very high, making the class rooms very congested.

He said the proposal for giving land to the Central School had been pending for the last two decades. Therefore,a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and a decision was taken to give ten acres of land to the Central School so that the students studying in the school got better academic environment.

The spokesman said that now the building of the Central School would be constructed according to the norms of the Kendriya Vidyalya Sangathan, near New Jail at Kaithal road in Karnal.
