Haryana gives relief to Labour Welfare Board employees

Chandigarh, June 19 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to remove the salary limit for EPF deduction for employees of Haryana Labour Welfare Board to provide them housing loans and other benefits of welfare schemes launched by the Board.

This was stated by Haryana Finance and Labour Minister Birender Singh while presiding over a meeting of Haryana Labour Welfare Board here today.

He said it had also been decided to transfer the office building of Labour and Settlement Officer, Yamunanagar to Labour Welfare Board so that it could regulate its activities.

The Minister said it had also been decided to shift Labour Welfare Centre, Charkhi Dadri to Stone Crusher Zone, Khanak near Tosham as a number of workers and their families would be benefited from this decision and they would not had to travel much to reach their work place.

Mr Birender Singh said the Board had also decided to open a Labour Skill Development Training Centre at Jasana village in Faridabad district.
