Banswara Zilla Pramukh booked for illegal felling of trees

Jaipur, June 19 (UNI) Banswara Zilla Pramukh along with two others were booked for illegal felling of Sagwan trees from the forest area.

According to police, a complaint was registered by the forest department at Kushalgarh police station against Zilla Pramukh Mahendra Singh Malviya, Bhuria and Theliya of cutting 28 Sangwan trees from the forest area. The police also seized felled trees.

The trio were booked under section 379 of IPC and section 32 and 33 of Indian Forest Act.
