AP CM must take responsibility for loss of medical seats:TDP
Hyderabad, June 19 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) General Secretary J R Pushparaj today criticised the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy for the reduction of 600 medical states by the Medical Council of India in the state.
Talking to newspersons here, he alleged that due to negligence of the state government, private colleges had not provided minimum infrastructure, which had resulted in the reduction of seats.
Mr Pushparaj said though Justice Bhaskara Rao Commission was set up in 2005, the rules and regulations for the Commission was not framed so far.
Alleging that health and education departments were neglected by the Congress governmment, he said though a crore people sufferred from Chikungunya during the last monsoon season, the government had not taken any precautionary measure.
