10 die, 55 hurt in MP mishap

Ratlam, MP, June 19 (UNI) At least ten passengers were killed and 55 injured when a private bus carrying more than 50 people veered off a bridge and fell into a roughly 12-ft-deep dry nullah at 1630 hrs today near Tal village, about 90 km from this district headquarters, police said.

The vehicle, which also had some people sitting on the roof, was en route to Mandsaur district headquarters from Kuchdod. Four of the deceased were identified as Lalooram (22), Suresh (26), Kalu Singh (45) and Anokhilal (55).

Senior police officers reached the spot. Ambulances were rushed from Aalot and Jaora.
