Two women among three killed in car-tanker collision
Ambala, June 18 (UNI) Three people, including two women, were killed while two were injured seriously when their car collided head-on with an oil tanker on Ambala-Chandigarh Road here today.
The three victims, identified as Harvinder Singh, Jasmit Kaur and Pinki Rani, died on the spot while two brothers Pritam Singh and Bhupinder Singh were injured seriously.
Both were sent to the PGI Chandigarh in critical condition.
The victims were residents of Bhagwan Nagar Colony, Pipli Kurukshetra and were returning from the PGI Chandigarh after the removal of stitches of Pritam Singh, who was operated recently.
The driver of the tanker escaped after the accident.
The car was badly damaged. The tanker was impounded after registering a case against the driver.
