Three foetuses found abandoned in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, June 18 (UNI) Three foetuses in three bottles were found abandoned near a dustbin at an open plot opposite Rami-ki-chali in Gomtipur this morning.

Rakhial police sources said the foetuses were put in a chemical solution. The age of the three foetuses could be anywhere between three months to seven months. All the three foetuses have been examined by Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials and sent for postmortem at the civil hospital here.

Police said they would take action against the nursing home or hospital that had discarded the foetuses in a public place. A police team has been formed to investigate the matter, sources added.
