Special Squads to check violation of Language Policy in Schools

Gulbarga, June 18 (UNI) Special Squads will be set by the Karnataka Government Education Department to check violation of Language policy by private aided and unaided Schools in the State, Minister for Primary and Higher Education Basavaraj S Horatti said today.

Addressing a press conference here, the Minister warned that concerned Block Education Officer (BEO) and Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) would be held responsible and action would be taken against them if they were found violating norms.

Mr Horatti said that an inquiry would be ordered on the recruitment of teachers without ''sindutva''certificate and action would be taken on the officials those who found diligent.

He said that English subject introduced in the government schools has received good response from all quarters.

He said that ''yoga'' would be introduced in the government schools in a phased manner and added that teachers for Drawing and Craft would be recruited and posted wherever required.
