Shilpa launches her perfume, to write cookery book

New Delhi, June 18 (UNI) Still basking in the fame that has come her way following her win in the 'Big Brother' reality show, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has now extered the league of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton by launching her own perfume in the United Kingdom.

Shilpa has joined the likes of Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton by launching her own fragrance in the UK, her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said.

Launching her new perfume, named 'S2', in UK recently, Shilpa said the fragrance was a "cut above the rest" in the sea of celebrity fragrances.

''The perfume is truly unique because we have an amalgam of jasmine and citrus and it's a very strong ethnic aroma.,'' It is something that is very synonymous with me and jasmine is very common in India, it's very difficult to find abroad, but the scent of jasmine is very long lasting and if you like it, you love it,''Shilpa said.'' The new perfume will be marketed in the UK and the Gulf region by internationally acclaimed company 'Fraqrance and Beauty', which has also manufactured the fragrance.

Among Shilpa's future plans are a cookery book and a DVD on yoga.

''Shilpa is also set to write a cookery book, release a feature DVD on yoga to be shot in the Himalayas , and even launch a chain of restaurants abroad; starting with one in Central London,''the spokesperson added.
