Select cotton up on good spinners' demand

Mumbai, June 18 (UNI) Select cotton prices resumed on good spinners' demand, traders at the Cotton Association said here today.

Cotton varieties like Karnataka jaydhar, Y-1, LRA, H-4, sankar-6-A grade and bunny/brahma rose by Rs 100 each per candy on lesser stock supply.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy in Rupees: Bengal Desi: Rs 15,000, V-797: Rs 16,000 Karnataka Jayadhar: Rs 15,200, Y-1: Rs 16,800 Punjab J-34: Rs 17,500, NHH-44: Rs 18,500 LRA: Rs 17,700, H-4: Rs 18,000 S-6-A grade: Rs 18,600, Bunny/Brahma: Rs 19,100 MCU-5: Rs 22,000, DCH-32: Rs 31,500, 26-MM: Rs 18,100 UNI
