Shimla, June 18 (UNI) The Centre has released a sum of Rs 5.20 crore to six districts of Himachal Pradesh under the Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY) for this financial year, an official spokesman said here today.

The grant-in-aid was released by the Ministry of Rural Development as balance of the first installment to Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kullu, Shimla, Solan and Una districts of the state under the scheme.

The spokesman said as balance of the first installment, a sum of Rs 69.39 lakh were being released for Bilaspur, Rs 71.30 lakh to Hamirpur, Rs 95.02 lakh to Kullu, Rs 120.64 lakh to Shimla, Rs 93.91 lakh to Solan and Rs 69.27 lakh for Una district.

The grant should be utilised for approved works only and subject to the conditions laid down by the SGRY, he added.
