Peon held for teacher's murder

Shivpuri, MP, June 18 (UNI) A peon was arrested on a charge of strangling a woman teacher at Khatora village in Indar police station area of this district.

Police said school peon Hajjobai confessed that she throttled Sudha Sharma on June 15 night after an altercation at the latter's residence on the school premises. She stoled about Rs 25,000 in cash and a gold ring of the deceased.

Meanwhile, retired police inspector D S Cheema was being interrogated as Ms Sharma was considered as his second wife, police added.
