Mother of 8-month-old falls victim to dowry
Jammu, June 18 (UNI) Police have arrested six members of a family, including two women, allegedly for demanding dowry and abetting death of a young woman at their residence near famous Raghunath Temple in the heart of city, official sources today said.
A mother of an eight-month-old baby, Neha Grover, died of strangulation at her residence late yesterday, sources said.
''Her parents have alleged that she was being harassed by in-laws, particularly by her mother-in-law and wife of her brother-in-law,'' sources said, adding that police have registered a case of dowry death and arrested all the members of her in-laws' family, including Neha's husband Raj Kumar Grover.

premature
to
say
whether
she
had
committed
suicide
or
torture
that
led
to
her
death.
We
are
investigating
the
matter.''
