MDI holds APAD on June 20-22
New Delhi, June 18 (UNI) Managemnet Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon today said it will hold the fourth Annual Conference of Asia-Pacific Association of Derivatives (APAD) from June 20 to 22.
This year's conference will see about 30 high quality academic papers on risk management, derivative instruments, quantitative finance presented by academicians as well as practioners from India, the US, Sweden, Chile, Mexico, South korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Some of the academic institutions who have confirmed participation include the IIMs, ISI, ISB, IISC, HKSUT, KAIST, Aston University, University of Maryland, University of Virginia and other universities from both India and abroad.
The industry participants will include NCDEX, NSE, ICICI, Citi Bank, UTI, Brain Matics, Lehman Brothers, PNB, ICRA and SEBI among others.
Set up in 2004, APAD comprises academics, practioners as well as regulators opearting in the derivative markets in the Asia Pacific region.
The APAD is an extended support by the Korea Stock Exchange, the BSE and the NSE as well as other bourses in the Asia Pacific region.
The previous annual conferences of the institute were held at Korea and IIM Bangalore.
