Maoists menace under control in AP district: Cop

Guntur, Jun 18 (UNI) The Maoist menace was under control in Guntur District and no longer a force to reckon with, the Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Ladha said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the maoists hideouts in Nallamala forest were unearthed and their arms and ammunititions were recovered. The district was once a hub of naxal activity, he added.
