Man shot dead

Lucknow, June 18 (UNI) Unidentified assailants shot dead a man and grievously wounded two others in Koranwa area of Allahabad district.

Police today said the incident took place late last night when Ghanshyam Bihari (45) was travelling on a motorcycle with two of his friends Hayat and Shakur.

Ghanshyam died on the spot, whereas his friends were admitted to a hospital.

According to sources, Ghanshyam was allegedly involved in criminal activities and was also sentenced to life imprisonment.

A case has been registered and manhunt launched to nab the absconders.
