Home officials hold talk with state police on insurgency

Ranchi, Jun 18 (UNI) A 14-member central delegation led by Union Home Ministry Special Secretary Vinay Kumar today arrived here on two-day tour and held discussion with top police officials on insurgency issues.

The meeting mainly dwelt on measures to tackle rising naxalite movement though details were not disclosed to media on security reasons.

Besides, the team would take stock of developmental scemes in the state.

The central team was scheduled to visit some sensitive areas during the tour.
