'Godmother' Santokben Jadeja files bail plea in Gujarat HC

Ahmedabad, June 18 (UNI) 'Godmother' Santokben Jadeja today filed a bail application in the Gujarat High Court.

Justice M D Shah adjourned the matter till June 21.

The Junagadh trial court had kept her bail plea pending subject to the completion of narco analysis test. She, however, wanted the high court to order the trial court to resolve the issue instead of keeping her bail plea pending.

Santokben was arrested for allegedly sheltering two suspects, believed to be friends of her son Kandhal Jadeja, in the rape and murder of two Koli girls in Junagadh.

Of the two girls, who had gone to Datar shrine in Junagadh, one was raped and the other one murdered on May 13 by the suspects who are absconding.
