First class bogie of Virar-Bharuch passenger train gutted
Vadodara, June 18 (UNI) A first class empty bogie of the Virar-Bharuch passenger train was completely gutted when it caught fire today.
The fire broke out in the bogie, which was berthed in the Bharuch yard, around noon. The fire-brigade put out the blaze in about 30 minutes.
The train was supposed to leave for Virar at 1415 hrs.
Bharuch Railway police sub-inspector R P Baria rushed to the spot and a FIR has been registered.
Police sources said the cause of the fire was still to be ascertained.
