Delhi resident files nomination for Prez poll

New Delhi, Jun 18: Delhi resident Ram Krishen Mital has become the first person to file his nomination for the July 19 Presidential election.

Mr Mital, a resident of Jor Bagh locality, filed his nomination before the Lok Sabha Secretary General and Returning Officer for the Presidential poll P D T Achary on Saturday, when the process commenced with the issuance of notification by the Election Commission.

Though Mr Mital has filed his nomination paperm he has not made any deposit, nor do the papers bear the names of any proposers or seconders.
