Chamel Singh takes over HPSSS board member

Hamirpur, June 18 (UNI) Former Kullu district Deputy Commissioner Chamel Singh was today administered the oath of office and secrecy as member of the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (HPSSSB), Hamirpur.

With his induction, the HPSSSB now has two members, including a chairman in Harbans Lal Sharma, who administered the oath to Mr Singh at a simple but impressive ceremony here.

Hamirpur ADM Hira Singh was also present on the occasion.

Talking to reporters after the oath ceremony, Mr Chamel Singh promised speedier declaration of results and a neat, clean and transparent functioning.

He said the board would ensure only the meritorious candidates were selected by it.
