Carcass of Royal Bengal tiger found

Coochbehar, Jun 18 (UNI) A Royal Bengal Tiger's carcass was found near the railway line under Gokshadanga police station in the district today.

District Forest Officer of Coochbehar Social Forest Division Apurba Sen the tiger might have died after being hit by a train.

He said the animal was about eight feet six inches in length.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he added.
