Bail refused to MLA Rama Singh

Patna, Jun 18 (UNI) A Local court here today rejected the regular bail petition of incarcerated JD (U) MLA from Mahnar constituency Ramkishore Singh alias Rama Singh in connection with an attempt to murder case.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate (in-charge) of Patna, Mithilesh Kumar Rai, after hearing both sides refused to release Mr Singh on bail.

Mr Singh was lodged in the jail since June 15.

Mr Singh was the named accused in an FIR registered at Kankarbagh police station of the state capital on June 9, 2007.

According to the charges, the driver of a vehicle was brutally assaulted by Mr Singh and his associates after a road accident.
