Bail refused to CDPO in bribery case

Patna, Jun 18 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of patna S.K.Panwar today rejected the regular bail petition of a Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) and an Aanganvadi supervisor in a bribery case.

The designated judge after hearing both sides refused to release CDPO of Bakhtiyarpur Indu Kumari and supervisor Bharti Saha on bail in the case.

Both accused were lodged in jail since June 15 last.

According to the charges, both accused were arrested by vigilance sleuths at Bakhtiyarpur while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an applicant of Anganvadi assistant for her selection on June 15, 2007.
