UP: 'Asthadhatu' idol recovered; 3 arrested

Allahabad, June 18: Three people, including a bank manager, were arrested after an 'asthadhatu' idol of lord Buddha was recovered from them in the Dhumganj area here.

Punjab National Bank, Bhadohi branch manager Qui Khan was in conversation with two people outside his residence late last night, on being frisked, the idol was recovered from the duo, police said today.

Later, police arrested the accused and were interrogating them.
