Amarinder reposes ''full faith'' in judiciary

Patiala, Jun 18 (UNI) Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today said he had full faith in the judiciary even as he accused the SAD-BJP government in the state of ''playing tactics to falsely implicate'' him in ''so called'' Ludhiana City Centre scam.

''I have full faith in the judiciary,'' Capt Singh said in a statement faxed from London which was issued to the media here after the Supreme Court dismissed the Special Leave Petition filed by the Punjab government against the bail granted to him by the Punjab and Haryana High court.

He criticised a section of electronic media for trying to ''malign and embarrass'' him and his family members in the ''so-called Ludhiana City Centre scam.'' Capt Singh, however, said the majority of media organisations was un-biased and acted judicially for which he was very grateful to them.
